Linda Adam Goddard authored the first edition in 1987. This 2017 edition presents workshop information for a 3-hour girls’ workshop and 2-1/2 hour boys workshop. This faith-based curriculum covers the physical and emotional changes experienced thoroughout adolescence; male and female reproductive anatomies, sexual orientations, menstruation, wet dreams, sexual intercourse and conception, HIV/AIDS, sexual abuse, rules for internet usage and adolescent dating expectations. PowerPoint presentation for each workshop is part of the curriculum offering. Medical Illustrator Lisa Clark’s beautiful color illustrations are included for the first time in this edition and small replicas of the PowerPoint slides are included in their appropriate place within the Teacher Manual. This curriculum is designed for 4-6th grade youth.
